I remember when the Orbital track came out, I immediately recognized it as a remix of Opus III's Fine Day. The golden age of rave.

❤❤❤ Ever cried hearing music? 9 minutes of this and I'm a raisin. I feel so so very dumb I never connected these songs. The Orbital version was a song I demoed to my friends on every expensive sound system I built. And went to sleep to a thousand times. And danced to....and xxx my kids love it.

I stumbled upon this song yesterday as part of an auto-playlist. I loved both of the main source tracks, so of course I would love this combination, but WOW! This mix is incredible on so many levels. I only regret not hearing this mix earlier.

This is the 1st and only way I was introduced to this song and version because Houston TX Club Numbers in 1993-1994 played it this way. Yours adds to it but very similar. The DJ there always played them mashed together.

At first I thought this was kind of a cheap idea since Orbital's Halcyon already samples sounds from Opus 3's Fine Day. But then I listened to it, and I have to admit, cheap or not, its dope as fuck!! Very well done, homey.

Miss jane was supposed to do the vocals for Halcyon originally, but she never showed. So they took its a fine day and chopped it up, and reversed it
