TXG is becoming my only go-to channel for review data where I 100% trust the outcomes simply because your transparency in providing all the real-time ball and club data. I dont have to guess how youre producing your outcomes. Id watched other YouTube reviews of this ball and one left me with impression that it was a poor performing ball based on the reviewers opinion and ball data graphics they showed at the end of the video. Thanks for the second opinion. No current plans to buy a box, but atleast i know know which brand and model to be comparing it to if I do. Thanks.

Great objective review, thank you. I have been playing the PV1 as well as the PV1x for years and I find that the PXG is equal. I am a senior player so that is my experience. I exceptionally like the bright white color and the putter alignment marking. Finally, I didn't find any scuffing.

Played 2 rounds w this ball and it’s excellent. You guys nailed the review perfectly. The reason why people hate PXG in my opinion, 2 reasons. Parsons in your face advertising. Price/expensive equipment compared to other brands. New company doing it on par or better than companies that have been in golf industry for decades now. PXG is about a $10 million dollar co now and their vibe is very upbeat and positive. If you don’t want to buy their equipment because they annoy you fine, they’re not for you. Looking forward to the Gen 6 launch! 🤣

Thank for the review on this, really liked seeing the numbers being compared to a tried and true tour ball. I have tried the PXG ball and it is decent but it wasn't quite for me. My swing type will produce backspin and I need balls and equipment that help me lower the spin rate especially off my driver. PXG played well but still too much spin for my game, I play either Bridgestone Tour B X or TaylorMade TP5x. But as you all said many times ball fitting is important just as club fitting are. Not every ball will work for every golfer.

Nice review, very thankful for the impartial take. What I would like to see is a durability test. The reason being is I play the Prov1x and I can alternate two balls for 4 rounds (without losing them of course) without a blemish. In round 5, I will start seeing a scuff here and there, but the ball will still be very much playable. I do like the bright white cover compared to the X. Thank you again.

I got fitted at PXG Orlando 2 weeks ago and picked up a dozen. I like them. Only a 7 HCP, so I'm not too finicky. And I agree, they look great. Been using Snell for a few years now.

Always good to see the txg review on stuff like this. You keep it fairly scientific and keep feelings out of the conversation so we can just have solid data and use it to make decisions for ourselves.

Personally I can’t see myself trying these though as I’m a die hard left dash player and this doesn’t seem to hit that niche.

Great reviews gents, I got these balls early on and saw the same kinda data on the skytrak.

It then surprised me when some of the big channels made the opposite claims, but as usual i feel like the tests are the only ones to be trusted.
