I love this song and it brings me to tears every time I hear it,


because it speaks to me so perfectly, like how "the melody sings what the words can't say"

Its telling me how despite how strange and odd I am, despite my mental disability, and when bad things happen. Its only my job to be me, the world is bad but I have to go to my own beat, and that is really good advice.

Every time im feeling down or sad, or like a bad person I put this on. Because it tells me im me, im not bad, im myself no matter the situation and that's the greatest thing I can be

I first watched this video at least 5 years ago, and I’ve been trying to find it again for almost as long. All I could remember is that it was a music video with a cute little puppet creature who rode a carousel at a carnival, and the name of the song was the name of the cute creature. After years of periodically playing word association in the youtube search bar, I’ve finally found it again! :D

Avey Tare's voice is extremely versatile; it's awesome to hear him over a fluid pop beat.The video is pretty neat too; it fits well with the song carrying a goofy Scooby Doo vibe to it. can't wait for an album of theirs.

Ugh, this song is so wholsome. I've shown my little sisters this song so much. I don't think they fully appreciate it yet, but I hope they know how special they are.
