Kobbie Mainoo, a Manchester United academy product, made his first start for the club in a Carabao Cup quarterfinal match against Charlton Athletic.

The 17-year-old midfielder from Stockport had impressed in the youth leagues, earning a call-up to the senior squad.

With poise and control beyond his years, Mainoo showed flashes of talent and potential on the big stage.
