Intelligent networking of different Products

The component management system networks a wide variety of products – here at the example of a layered construction of the wall.

First, a generic/neutral wall with a layered structure in Revit is planned. By opening the BMS the all layer configuration is made. In ths example, a three-layer wall with different components or building materials from different manufacturers is planned. The logics and rules determine which products can be combined with each other. The result is a wall consisting of planned, real products that have been permissibly configured with each other.

By selecting „placeobject“, the neutral BIM object is converted into a specific object – at the push of a button. All information about the individually configured object is recorded in the BMS.
This makes it possible for manufacturers of individual components and building materials to make their products BIM-capable. In addition, strategic partnerships with other companies can be realized directly in the BIM content.
