ANC Media Briefing: KZN secretary Bheki Mtolo to issue apology to Nehawu over scathing remarks

ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula says a meeting has been held to resolve an impasse between the ANC in KZN and Nehawu. This comes after relations soured between the two organisation following remarks made by ANC KZN provincial secretary Bheki Mtolo directed at Nehawu.
Mtolo has agreed to apologise to Nehawu over his scathing remarks with Mbalula saying his remarks were unfortunate and misplaced.

Mtolo was correct poor service in our hospitals, people died waiting for help on Long lines in hospitals and we all know workers are under NEHAWU. That is true

I am a full member of ANC as a political party that we fought for and NEHAWU as trade union, the only challenge for them is they are not loyal to members what makes people die in public facilities is the incompetence appointment of officials without relevant qualifications to lead strategic posts, due to favoritism etc. Lets them refrain from that, sometimes people say the truth about what they see n its hurt.

Some people in the nehawu continue to attack GNU especially the ANC, I think out of anger and frustration decided to hit back wrongly in a public platform, abantu bakuthi should know that they are in these departments at the behest of the citizens, they are employed by the citizens not by nehawu or ANC SACP structures
