Elektron Octatrack, Digitakt, Analog RYTM, Analog Four, Digitone Audio Routing explained the way I use it. In this video I explain how I route the audio from all of the pieces of my DAWless live setup in to one stereo pair for output. I connect together 35 sequencer tracks of audio in Elektron Octatrack, Analog Rytm, Digitakt, Digitone, and Analog Four without any external mixer. I hope this will give you some ideas to help you create your own unique DAWless setup. There are links below to all of the gear discussed in the video.

Love how there is still a set of two inputs on the digitone and digitakt to keep the chain going… …and the opportunity to put external effects between the outputs and the inputs of the next machine and a heat or oto boum beyond the octa’ s final out… this makes me realize my imagination has been limited by desktop area. Nice video.

Thanks a lott for this run through! I just got bitten by the Elektron bug and am learning a ton of this tutorial linking my DN, DT and A4 in a portable battery operated rig. Not needing an extra mixer sure helps a lot portability wise, subscribed for mote, thanks once again and sweet jammin✌️

There was so much stuff in here I’d never thought of for my Elektron boxes - will definitely be reviewing my set up off the back of the this - many thanks!

The main question of all this setup is how you going to take this one to a gig? It is quite big massive and setup of cables will take you quite a lot of time :)
Also the resilience a big part what if on a stage you forget a cable or what if one cable be broken or what if you put not a right input or whatever. It happened to me :) also why you do not have analog heat? It will help your sound not sound so flat.
I decided to minimize my setup to DT, DN, Peak and AH. I think limiting yourself can help in a way to be creative and limiting failure on a stage :)
Anyway want to say that your channel is dope! Keep going very very good content!

Great video. I've got the same gear as you which you had me rearranging just after watching this. I failed to utilize the compressors as much as I should have been. Also, with the new external mixer on the Digitakt (released after this video) you can now add another synth to your setup.

Hey Surco. how do you deal with the Analog RYTM's external input level being very low? do you lower each individual track from AR to match the input level and then compensate with the master? or did you find another workaround?

Great video, exquisite teaching skills! Transference of knowledge is an art you have mastered, sir!
I don't know anyone who owns Elektron gear and I'm still new to music production.
Your video topic is the closest I found to help with what I am struggling with.
For Elektron gear I only have the Digitakt, which I want to use as mixer sending final output to my monitors, and want to feed my microfreak synth sound as external input to the Digitakt (with an effect pedal in between those two). I want to be able to play my synth live whilst I having a rhythm looping on the Digitakt, and the final signal being fed by the Digitakt into my monitors or headphones, without using an external mixer / audio interface. Can it be done? If so, where can I find information on how to use the Digitakt in the same way as the Analog Rhythm is used in the setup of this video, please? Thank you so much in advance to anyone willing to help me 🙏

This is so detailed and well explained, even though I do not have most of the gear I felt like I just got the perfect walkthrough of how to set up my station properly.

been routing machines thru my OT for over 5 years in live sets and never knew I could bypass the channel and go direct lol. I personally enjoy being able to manipulate the effect parameters and record the changes on the OT but still, good thing to know.
