Bikepacking Maria Island

Показать описание
Wukaluwikiwayna/Maria Island is car-free, surrounded by white beaches, turquoise water, mountain top vistas and more wombats than you can poke a stick at (but please don't).

Just a 30 minute ferry ride from Triabunna (1.5 hours drive from Hobart), Maria also appeals to those with a penchant for convict and Tasmanian history.

In October 2020, we took the ferry over, rode 13km to pitch the tent at Encampment Cove and went exploring for 2 1/2 days.

We acknowledge with deep respect the traditional owners, the puthikwilayti people, the original custodians of the land on which we rode and surrounding waters.

Filmed with Panasonic GH5 with a 10-25mm f1.7 lens. Edited in FCPX.
