I love everything about you and your family, I also love the lunch boxes how I wish I can get for my kids. Plantain chips is a popular snacks in Africa. The fried ones but not crispy are usually served as side dishes along with rice/beans.

Pupusas are Salvadorian! So you don't usually eat them with Mexican style salsa or sour cream, but with curtido, which is basically pickled cabagge and carrots. It actually tastes really good! So glad you are trying new Latino foods! Loooove plantain chips (we call them platanitos)
