His video and bulb recommendation are correct.  If you have a problem you are doing something wrong.  Having said that, on the drivers side, the wiring is coated in plastic and taped together to the high beam wiring.  I found it easier to install the drivers side bulb by using a razor blade and cutting the tape, allowing the two sets of wires to be separated.
