This happened to me just recently on my Vitz, I stopped at a stop sign, the road was wet, front wheel starting spinning and a traction control light flashes briefly for 2 seconds. Engine power would also lose a lot of power but would regain power after road conditions are better

Thats why you need the switch to completly turn it of which you can get best thing for dirt roads and mud

Dangerous in mud, last thing you need is your brakes locking up in the mud it’s a poor design on Toyota’s part.

Annoying it engine brakes automatically when you are going downhill and press the brakes. Also adds to fuel cost. Just get rid of it especially w/ asian countries w/ no snow. Not unless toyota doesn't want us to trust their brake system or transmission.
