Of all awards to try to sucker yourself a hand on, the Pat Tillman award has got to be the absolute last one you want to try to make a mockery of. Pat Tillman and his life, death, legacy are no joke and represent a lot to a lot of people from all walks of life. I still wrestle with all it means to me because it has meant accepting truths that were hard to accept and also wishing my faith on someone posthumously who did not want it. I want to accept and respect Mr Tillman for all that he was and wasn’t. Harry inserting himself into this story is sickening.
