first the wildfires and forest fires ... next will be yuck, messy and potentially very damaging mudslides ... after the snow starts to melt ...

Forest fires have been happening since the beginning of time. If they want to help slow the spread in futures to come then they need to bring back controlled burns and logging more like they use to decades ago. Plus it will help fight the insects that kill the pine trees and clear the ground of debris.
