So many rude comments! I wonder how the cow dung doesn’t smell or get them sick, or in the way of their daily life. It’s certainly an interesting tradition! Life is full of such beautiful and weird and wonderful things to make it colorful!

For anyone who finds it odd or disturbing if you think about it dreads in general arent clean. Im not saying its a style one shouldn't have but to say its cleanly would be a lie. Im black & i Believe whoever it is white or black their hair can never truly be clean. My brother wants them and ill help him do them and keep them as clean as possible but truth it they'll never really be clean.same with the box braids i wear for a month. Even when i wash my hair with them in my hair will never turly be clean. Its only recently in human history that being 100% sterile was considered proper. The truth is none us will truly be clean because we're a part of this earth. The only things that need to be 100% sterile is an operating room/lab.
