*Fresh news is that these will be released for under €1000 later this year* - 23/08/2024

Do you think this looks like a serious contender to dethrone Simucube as the active pedal king?

Like Moza or not, this means game is on! I think more manufactures are gonna come along with active pedals now. This is a benefit for us, love it!

This is fantastic for simracing. Assuming the price point is reasonable. I own 2 Simucube active pedals which I use for gas and brake. Truly love my pedals, and am very hopeful for my fellow sim racers that they might get something as great (or hopefully even better) at an affordable price point. This could be Moza’s killer application. Hoping for the best.

Beyond being happy for everyone else, this will also be great for Simucube pedal owners as this will no doubt motivate Simucube to accelerate their software development (which truth be told has been a little slow IMHO).

Logitech better step up and do it very fast. I own the GPRO. Amazing wheel but lack of wheels , shifters, handbrakes, etc is going to make me sell and focus on MOZA .

I love that Moza keep on innovating. They are really stirring up the Sim market. The truck wheel, the column switches are now out, flight sim kit and now these pedals. I reckon these pedals will be out of my reach but I'm really looking forward to seeing more details, reviews, and yes, prices of course.

More sim racing candy. New wheels as well. Really nice stuff, thanks for the quick review.

I got to be honest i think they might try to aim for 999 dollars on 2 active pedals and 1399 dollars for 3 active pedals.

I don’t actually think they are gonna be as expensive as people think. And everyone here knows that IF they price 2 pedals for 999 dollars then EVERYONE is gonna buy them. Cause it just becomes a must compared to what is out there. And they are gonna take advantage of that like they did when Fanatec couldn’t deliver.

I’m actually thinking of buying the r12 tomorrow but just don’t know if the force is enough? If anyone in the comment section after the 3.0 update has any opinion of the r12 I would love to know what you think :)

I took tbe plunge and bought 1 active pedal as a brake and it is a total game changer. Made my lap times drop and has me so much more consistant. Up to a 2.4k irating and was in the 1.5k now granted its not all cuz of the pedal bit def helped. Hope this is a home run as compitition breeds innovation.

800-1000 for one is my bet. 500 is way too cheap in my opinion.

I love how logitech has abandoned the sim racers that have bought thier dd wheel. And these ppl wanna give me crap for being a fanatec owner. At least I have a eco system.

My stab in the dark would be anywhere between $\€ 750, - to 1000, - per motor unit.

I could see it being similar to the new AB9 flight stick base in price, because is has a few more mechanical elements than a (budget) DD wheelbase, but with a market oriented pricing keeping them aggressively lower than the Simucube offering (though still with a healthy profit margin for Moza itself).

I hope it's sold as a stand alone pedal and i'm not forced to buy the set

Can’t wait for reviews of this. Would consider selling my p1000 wirh haptics for it.

It’s not really fair to compare the Simagic Haptic reactors to active pedals. The main point of active pedals is not the feedback of abs and tc, it’s that you can tune the pedals to the particular car you are driving. Formula car, set it with high force and low travel, jump into a 70’s sports car and you can change the profile to give a softer pedal with long travel. Want a noticeable compression bump at 80% for iRacing, no problem with active pedals. The effects are a bonus but it’s all about adjustable pedals from software rather than swinging a spanner and a bag of springs and elastomers.

simagic is literally failing to give their community what they want. hell, even being honest with the community is ridiculous. let alone they dont understand how there own software works is even better
