When she was seven years old, judo athlete Kayla Chappell began training in Moore with two-time Olympic athlete Patrick Burris. She said she fell in love with judo immediately and credits the sport for teaching her life lessons, character, respect and confidence. To edge her toward her goal of being an Olympian, Kayla pictures herself standing proud with American flag behind her and the National Anthem playing just for her.
