See that’s why I loved the clones growing up. Kids my age talking about wanted to be Jedi or Sith but ever since ep2 when the clones came from the sky to safe the Jedi I’ve always adored them! In my mind I don’t think they’ll ever get enough praise for being the heroes they were. Rising up to their duty

If I remember the story correctly, didn't he hold off the stormtroopers for a short while and even managed to blow up one of their transport ships?

Cool thing about this is, Luke Skywalker NEVER got to see clone troupers, he's only known storm troupers his whole life. So Able was literally the 1 and only clone trouper Luke met and he got to witness first hand just how superior and bad ass the clones were, and he was still loyal to the Republic after all that time too.

Based. Really sucks they turned into a rakghoul. Rest easy Able. Rex, Gregor and Wolfe kept the legacy of the clones alive.

You know how they say you live long enough to become the monster? Able found that out firsthand. Regrettably. We need more Clone survivor stories! Especially ones that lived up to the Galactic Civil War!

Clone trooper wasting stormies? Pity we never saw that live action.

I heard the story of him. I just didn’t know that he died. Which sucks.

I never realized he turned into a rakhhoul that's so cool! Sad, but most would know the rakghoul disease originated from kotor so I'm honestly really happy they went further with the disease

What an underrated character in star wars. He did so much to help the rebel alliance but never got the recognition or ending he deserved. It's a shame how he died though.

An honorable soldier, a dishonorable death

So in the end, they killed him off in the stupidest way possible

FINALLY, no one seemingly mentions Able's fate, they always cut it qt "he joined the rebellion thanks to Luke"

He was a good soldier through and through

The fact that one clone trooper fought like 10 stormtroopers and won proves that clones are better

God I love OG Star Wars. Disney and a million years couldn't write what Legends ever did.

Kinda reminds me of the story of Hiro Anota, a Japanese soldier who was stranded on an island for over 30 years and refused to believe the war ended

Rex, or CT-7567, actually joined the Rebellion in ROTJ, you can see that I believe that the Ghost crew (Kanan, Hera, Ezra, Sabine, Chopper, and Zeb), and Ahsoka Tano convinced Rex to join the Rebellion, you can actually see him in ROTJ, when the scout trooper was stopped by a bunch of rebellion soldiers. He would appear with a white beard, a helmet, and the same camo suits the other soldiers wore, So that's that.

Rachghoul plague from Old Republic
Clone Trooper from Galactic Republic
And Luke Skywalker from Galactic Empire

Three periods. All interconnected. That is so cool!

Due to him being stranded on Lubang Minor for 20 years, Abel was the one of Two Clone Troopers that never received Order 66 from Palpatine since he didn’t have any form of Communication with the Republic during that time. The other Clone that never received Order 66 was the Clone Deserter shown in the Clone Wars and Bad Batch Shows.
