Exclusive pumper here, starting to wean from the pump at 9 months because I have a freezer full of milk! CAN'T WAIT to be done. The frozen milk should get me to over a year. This has been the biggest sacrifice I have done. I want another child but I am so afraid they won't latch again and I will be in this same situation again! My #1 reason I am apprehensive about having baby #2.

I exclusively pumped 12 months for twins, and one twin refused to drink anything but my breast milk. No formula, no donor milk, etc and boy was I a new woman when I finished that journey. You go Mama! One day at a time

No love just hate! I did it cause maternity leave in the us is a joke and I had to work but it sucked. I have so much respect for exclusively plumping mamas. So grateful we didn’t have to go that route. I think any more pumping that I already had to do would have broken me

This might be a stupid question, but why are you pumping instead of breastfeeding? Is it because of work? I suddenly feel so blessed to have been able to be at home on maternity leave with my kiddo for a year, even though I love my job.

I was only pumping at lunchtime the first year, BF before and after work and here we are 19 months only breastfeeding at night. Those hands free electric breast pump was AMAZING when I’m working as a women’s health clinician for open box for $50 retail for $150 on Amazon. And I was able to donate 3 - one gallon bags with 10-15 bricks of 4-5 oz milk. I totally understand pumping all the time and I did that for 3 months after he grew teeth with my second. 😢

💯💯💯 I've been power pumping, and my child typically wakes up as soon as situated. She had her 2 month check-up shots today, so she had been sleeping peacefully after screaming and crying her eyes out 5 hours ago.

I exclusively pumped for 11 months. Built a stash to last her until she was 15 months. When I was in the thick of it, it was pure survival mode, but man did I feel liberated when I finally stopped 🤣.
