I grew up in Oscoda. My dad taught at Robert D Richardson Jr High. My parents owned the resort located at 2524 N US 23. It was called Johnston's Resort. They owned it for 30 years. We went to Lumberman's Monument when I was a child. The steps to the river were in poor condition for many years. Rotted wood, big gaps where steps were missing. No hiking trails. People still climbed down to the AuSable. Your video brought back many memories

I thought Oscoda was polluted with PFAS.
