This isnt a bad idea kind of...
I just thought of a card idea and to my knowledge its original: the elixir storage:
A building that doesnt attack but is tanky and can heal by feeding it cards that will heal based on the elixir value of said card. Naturally it will still take elixir from you
Another version could take the cards for no elixir but your oponnent will have the card spawn behind their king tower and fight for them as though they themselves placed it down. In this second alternative the level of card the oponnent recieves is based off the elixir storages level.
For both the elixir storage would heal more by the level, either percentagewise with 1 elixir=10% or a flat amount like 1 elixir=100hp at level 1 and it would be 1 elixir=150hp at level 2
Again for both ideas the health of the elixir storage would increase with every level
