Wow! Rare DISCO CHICAGO with fantastic Tenor Vocals & funky Bass from Peter Cetera!! with Guests Airto Moreira playing in the classic "Chicago Percussion" style!! & Maynard Ferguson on Trumpet Solo!!
From their 1979 LP "Chicago 13".
This Song hit the Dance Charts at 91. ALWAYS LOVE THIS ultra talented and most unique BAND! Their live Concerts are amazingly incredible! A-CLASS ACT! Thanks for awakening this Sleeper!

Chicago & EWF are black & white sides of the same coin- great horn sections, great songwriting, & multiple vocalists who knock it out of the park. I'd never want to choose!🤗

Classic 70's Disco music from Chicago, which was/is not their roots, but their genuine talent made it work...

~ ~ Chicago Transit Authority! 1979!!! The under-rated song that got caught up in the stupid radio backlash against dance music that year. Should have been a top 10 record on the charts, but is revered NONETHELESS in 2018. The Bucketheads ~ Chicago they owe their success to in 1995. Thank you for posting this enduring fine classic stomper ~ Cheers, DAVEDJ ~ ~

Chicago put their FOOT in this one! Pete Cetera sounds great. I had heard the sample "..street sounds swirlin 'through my mind" repeated over and over. I never knew it came from this song.

I grew up listening to this song in House mixes. It just occurred to me - this might be the first time I've ever heard it in its entirety!

Seems like a lot of classic rock and pop acts of the 70s had at least one disco song much to my joy. Rod Stewart, kiss, Carly Simon, and this one by Chicago and I know a lot of people would be mad at me for saying this but the Eagles' "one of these nights" has all the elements of a disco record. Despite the late 70s backlash against Disco it goes to show what a phenomenal piece of American pop culture it really is. David Bowie Hall & Oates turned their 70s Blue Eyed Soul into danceable format

Quite Simply SUPERB! Love the whole record and the horn section in the middle is just too short for me. Fantastic upload and thanks for sharing with the world.

Never heard this Disco track in my life but god do love it or what!. Why oh why was this not a massive hit both in the US and here in UK in 1979 it should of been, it's red hot. I never knew Chicago could be so dam funky and Peter Cetera's voice on this track is wonderful.
I love Disco and Funk from the 1970s and early 1980s. This just makes you want to get up and dance till your body hurts.
