While the sedan market has moved to SUVs, with a bit of creativity, will this new Prius become popular again? Others to consider are Honda Civic, Mazda3, Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Elantra, and Tesla Model 3.

As the former owner of one 5th Gen and two 6th Gen Camaros, I have no objections with this vehicle's visibility.

They overcame the two main problems: looks and power.

This is the first iteration of the Prius that actually looks good and I would consider buying.

It's refreshing to hear dedicated motor heads honestly evaluating a car from a segment that motor heads struggle to accept. Well done, guys.

What a great Prius. I would have NEVER even looked at one and now I'm test driving them.

Toyota dealers are going to bend you over so far if you really want one of these. 10, 000 examples is basically nothing. That's a tiny fraction of RAV4 production, and you can hardly find one of those, especially the hybrid. As to the Prius' appliance character, they've always been appliances. My Gen II was awful to drive, but it was by far the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Even two teenagers couldn't kill it. They could ding it up pretty badly, though.

Honestly the only downside to me is the EXTREMELY limited availability. I'd grab one of these in a heartbeat if I could actually find one in a configuration that I like

With DD’s videos being more apparent sales pitches for Cars and Bids these days, I am appreciating more then ever SG’s reviews. Thanks for being awesome, for not taking yourselves too seriously, and most of all for the really informative videos.

It's fun to think about the remote possibility of Toyota getting crazy and building an AWD GR Prius, which if well-executed, would be a REALLY interesting car.

I’m excited what Toyota will reveal next week. People speculate it’s a GR Prius. I’m liking the new design but if a GR ver is introduced, then it will def push me into buying one. Saw a new Prius the other day and I stood there for a moment to appreciate the new design. Really nice car.

I absolutely love this car. I never thought I’d say I love a Prius but legit, I’m trying to convince my girlfriend to get one. My week with the car I got 83mpg overall since I plugged it in enough, and that’s with a few 150+ mile road trips.

I love when my megacorp dips their toes in the meme game.

As an s2000 and Tundra owner, this will be the perfect third car for my wife and I. Decent driving dynamics, comfortable, amazing on gas and will last forever. Gonna get one of these and use it for all the snowboard and mountain bike trips that we don't need the truck for!

I want to thank you so much for putting in the extra effort to produce at least some of your videos in HDR. I know most viewers still can’t take advantage of it, but for those of us who can, it’s a noticeable upgrade. Mostly because you already have such beautiful cinematography.

As an owner of a 2024 Prius Prime XSE, I must say that this is the best and most unbiased assessment of the Prius I've seen so far

I see the 2017 Chevy Volt. What a shame that GM failed to sell/explain what they had.
