Tariq is not talking about Diana. Effie is effective to the organization because Obi said that everyone had to come to the meetings including Effie. If Tariq is threatening Lauren and Tariq don't take out Lauren, Lauren would never get with Tariq. I believe Tariq is threatening Brayden because of the ponzi scheme and Brayden told Tariq that his inheritance is gone.

Lauren wasnt a threat ontop of that Tariq KNOWS hes being investigated by The Feds. Killing Lauren would be suicide because they're already planning to jump on him and has been gunning for him since Ray Ray's murder. Him threatening Lauren wouldnt work; Itll only fasten his downfall.
Effie is more logical, it would make sense for him to raise a gun to someone in the game much like his father would. Ghost wouldn't raise a gun to an innocent

I use to think it was Lauren but let's take it from a different angle. What if he is saying it to Brayden? He has told him he loves him line family and maybe Brayden don't want to make a move against his family that can make this all go away. Maybe against Chase or uncle Lucas or something. I love the theories, but to a certain degree we have to stop trying to make fetch happen when we have so little information to go off, we don’t know when this is going to happen heck or if it’s even going to happen at all, there’s been a few things in the trailers that don’t make it to the show just to throw us off, but let’s say that this does happen, when I first saw it I figured that it was grandma she wants him to stop doing what he’s doing. He told her to go ahead and go into witsec it’s very possible that she being stubborn decided to stay and at some point threatens Tariq to try to get him to leave the life or go to jail and in response, he lets her know that’s not gonna happen see how it just made a whole storyline there. That makes sense let’s get closer to the episode before we jump to conclusions about who’s being threatened.

Nothing needs to happen to Lauren. Tariq needs no more bodies to connect back to him. Who knows Lauren, Effie, Keke, which one is Noma daughter.
