in movie you can make each hero to do with script wo that they weren't look overpowered and balanced, BUT in video games melee vs ranged weapon is a no brainer.

I think it would also bi interesting if mortal combat did this with alll its different heros and the fact that they can bring characters from different franchises… Imagine hearing GET OVER HERE out loud and bloody fatalities as ultimates
