Me personally, Congress and the US government in general is clearly not focusing on what it’s supposed to. Why does the U.S government focus on a foreign company than rather focus on internal issues such as homelessness, poverty, debt and economic crises or the education and law enforcement systems? I know that ByteDance and China do work together to take in data from American users that they can use for things such as cyber warfare, but there a lot of other things that are of bigger importance that some social media company. Also, the coincidence here is that like Kreek said (well, this has been known for a long time), is that American companies steal American citizens data due to loopholes and laws that allow them to do so. It almost feels like America is spying on its citizens rather than China at times.
But, in reality, there’s not much we can do, the government won’t care if you protest this law or anything just like most other things,
Anyways, there’s my rant. (I just checked what I wrote and oh my god I yap too much)

I do have TikTok but it usually takes like 2 or 3 months before I use it again so for a person that doesn't use TikTok much at all, this doesn't affect me as it does to those who use TikTok allot.

As someone who is a large TikToker, I find it weird that in order to get verified ( the blue checkmark ) You have to upload you're state ID, driver's license (the front and back.) and you're passport, that seems kinda weird and overkill.

Personally, Tiktok is really bad, we have people smiling and getting 100M views, teens doing challenges and dying, loads of rude content, brain rot, the list go's on
