We were given the opportunity to take a Isuzu MU X off-road. So we took it to a well know track in Perth. Then followed almost the same lines as a 4" lifted GQ Patrol. Watch to see how it preformed

It is great to see an Australian 4wd video that is about the 4wdriving and not a non-stop ego trip for the makers of a video who never shut up. Thank you.

Outstanding video illustrating what the MUX can and can’t do. Well done.

We have almost exactly the same car. We took it all sorts of places stock just like this. We now have much upgraded tyres and full length bash plates. The tyres alone make such a difference. e.g. recovery boards won’t grip the stock tyres. Next is dual lockers, rock sliders, and last of all, a small lift. We don’t plan to buy a bull bar or winch for the moment. But we always carry the following on our roof rack (quick easy access): Bog out, with extensions. Long handled shovel, recovery boards, axe. We’ll also add a snorkel at some point. I can’t wait to try it out dual locked!

We’ve had it for almost 3 years from new. Love it! Best car I’ve ever owned.

Great vid. Just ordered one. Good to see it can handle some off road and find out its a work horse. Cant wait to get it and give it a run.

I had a 2020 4x2 model here in Ph, it's called LS-A blue power back here, the 4jj1 tcx is one of the best diesel engine there is. Glad to see that LS-E down under doing what it was made for. Great video!

Without a doubt the best 4b I've driven outside of my GU.
Twin ARB lockers
16" steelies wrapped in 265/75r16 Maxxis RAZRs (upgrading to 285s next)
2" Outback Armour lift (about 65mm)
And you'll literally be unstoppable, incredibly capable truck in the above spec.

As an MUX owner that nearly brought a tear to my eye. Good to know what they can do if needed but i wouldn't put mine up that track.😂 Good well filmed video boys.

It seems that your mux has a better calibration for traction control. Well done both driver and car.

Very impressed, great vid. We pick ours up this Monday. I was looking into other A/T rim/tyre combos to swap out with the factory ones but after watching this and considering ours is going to see most use on the school runs with some fairly mild campsite tracks thrown in now and then I'm not sure I need to.

That was amazing!!i got 2017 MUX and tried a bit offroading with it, and it goes well even i got 20 inch rims!i bought it with it and will change it with 16 or 17" so i could go on the bush with not much worries!upon watching your video, makes me encourage that my Browny will make it the way your Mux smashed the tracks

Really capable, my friend kept up with me everywhere with my fortuner except some slight mud. If he had some all terrains like my Toyota, should have not got stuck

I bought an MU-X mainly for unsealed roads on trips around Australia. If I was doing tracks like that , I would do at least a 2 inch lift and rear diff lock. The MU -X would have done that track so much easier..Tha driver did an excellent job not to do much damage..
