This whole past week Felger and Mazz have been claiming that Kelce is “better” than Gronk “in all the ways that fans care about the position” (meaning catching passes and ignoring hitting), when Kelce is really just another option as a receiver. Gronk, however, could shove linemen down like it was nothing, and it routinely took 2, 3, or 4 defenders to bring him down when he got the ball. The question should instead be “who would you rather have on your team - Kelce or Gronk?” The answer is clearly Gronk because he was much stronger and a more complete and dominant player than Kelce ever was. I know Felger and Mazz have purposely ignored that aspect of Gronk’s game in furtherance of their “KC is better than the Pats” schtick this past week, but there should be some pushback in support of Gronk. Don’t allow the fellas to rewrite history just to needle and pester Pats fans.
