Can’t go wrong with Neve! Always useful and always right when you know how to use it. Some may say this is hardly a course in this effect’s use. Your method is clear to me, concise in exercise and shows just what is needed to operate this well and not overdo it! Works for me! I love Neve gear! No apologies offered or needed! Neve is the best desk and their outboard gear is too! I swear by it!

I love this compressor. It has 3 transformers per channel and just sounds amazing. The UAD plug in of this compressor is ok, but in my opinion there is enough of a difference to buy the hardware. Especially with the no interest options for 2 years at the places that carry them.

Thanks again for your videos...Again most of the time you are not using / getting constant levels when you A/B - You are always adding volume when you engage the compressor. Not sure if thats part of the marketing plan with these : )... Cheers, - Sean Ryder Williams

Maybe your newer videos do it differently, but having you speak between switching between bypass and on is distracting. It's hard to do a direct comparison when right between the switch, the audio ducks to allow your voice to come through—my ears have to adjust to that and I'm not getting the adjustment from bypass to on to bypass etc. Just a visual indicator is enough.

It really doesnt tell us much about how this thing behaves. The mix is nowhere near finished, so all we hear is just a compressor struggling to make an unfinished mix - really tells us nothing about the actual character and capability.

don't know any real mastering engineer using a 33609 for mastering ... so this is a new.
