About the book

In 'The Fourth Way', Ouspensky delves deep into Gurdjieff's philosophy, providing a clear and comprehensive introduction to the Fourth Way, which is considered by many to be one of the most profound and transformative spiritual paths of the 20th century.

The Fourth Way is an approach to personal development that combines elements of Eastern and Western spiritual traditions, psychology, and science. Gurdjieff believed that most of us are asleep, living in a state of mechanical existence, unaware of the deeper meaning and purpose of our lives. He offered a path to awakening that involves self-observation, self-remembering, and the cultivation of conscious awareness.

In this audiobook, Ouspensky explores the key concepts of the Fourth Way, including the law of three, the law of seven, and the concept of centers. He also delves into Gurdjieff's ideas about human psychology, consciousness, and the nature of reality.

Whether you are a seasoned practitioner of the Fourth Way or new to this path, this audiobook is an essential guide to understanding Gurdjieff's teachings and applying them to your own life. So sit back, relax, and let the profound wisdom of "The Fourth Way" guide you on your journey of self-discovery and transformation.

“ if knowledge develops beyond being, the result will be a weak yogi, a man who knows everything but can do nothing. If being develops beyond knowledge, the result will be a stupid saint, a man who can do everything but does not know what to do”

The interruptions are okay. You must pay bills. Actually, insofar as they annoy one, it merely becomes part of the Work. In daily life there is no end to material to work on. Then you begin to see annoyanc as a gift. And it goes away.
