This feels like what would actually happen, cause I don't think Eggman on a new diet would be making robots that are a bigger threat than the ones he already makes.

I feel like if sonic survived the encounter he’d get to the end and find Amy eaten like in cd. Starved back in his main base then feels little planet shake briefly. He runs to the monitor trying to find the source of the tremor. He sees the chain he attached to little planet is shaking up and down like something had hit it and a massive heat signature going down the chain. It doesn’t take long to connect the dots. Starved prepares every robot he has. He evens resists his urge to eat and uses a few mobians to power old prototypes and badnicks. Every boss from sonic 1- 3 and knuckles. Stands ready to fight. Then the chain shakes again and a blue blur speeds past them all metal and debris flying everywhere. Starved blinks in shock before hearing the sound of tearing metal as the door to the base is punched through by a spinning buzzsaw. Silver sonic, mecha sonic, and a partially built metal sonic prototype stand before the intruder. They charge as one breaking the sound barrier in seconds, their metal chassis smoking from the power their exerting.

Their parts are scattered across the floor faster then you and I can see. The death egg robot, and big arms appear attempting to crush sonic but meet the same fate. The last robot standing is furnace who charges from behind trying to catch sonic off guard. All starved sees is a bright flash then looks down to see furnaces head rolling on the floor. Suddenly faster than he can see sonic is standing face to face with him his golden aura slightly burning starved. No words are said, no threats or jokes, theirs only silence. Then as fur turns from gold to a rainbow of colors starved finds himself on fire as he’s rocketed into the atmosphere. The fire does not last though as he breached the atmosphere and floats in the nothingness. He dies surrounded by stars with the smell of his own cooked flesh stinging his nostrils.

The fact that people would get genuinely upset if there was a good ending makes me wonder what goes through their heads

I love the detail that was put into this, Sonic breaking the sound barrier once he entered Mach speed when Furnace chased after him

y'know i always imagined the good ending like this:

after the ending of the song and Sonic starts to make fun of Eggman, Sonic would notice Furnace standing waiting for him to end up in his hands, Sonic would then jump and dropdash for the first ever time into Furnace destroying him, this would surprise Eggman. Tails and Sonic would then try to avenge the Mobians who got cooked together by going straight to Eggman, I'd always imagine Fight or Flight having both of them singing against Eggman, if this ever happened, but hey it's my imagination ig 🤷‍♂️

I’ve always imagined a “Prey good ending” being that Furnace went too far back on the speedway, thus giving Starved and Sonic more time to talk, and Starved reveals that Amy is already dead to mock Sonic, but this ends up having an adverse effect as it sends Sonic into a rage filled frenzy, and he transforms into Dark Super Sonic just in time for it to knock Furnace away, and then you get a dope extra verse where Dark Sonic raps against Starved and Furnace at the same time.

Even though this was a good ending, I still expected seeing Sonic be slaughtered by the cybernetic soldier seeking to sear him.

I feel as if this made more sense than what we have now, "Sonic slowed down to taunt the doctor", well, he sped up afterwards, had the whole instant peel out animation and everything, you're telling me a robot that is practically the same as metal sonic but looks like Mecha sonic is faster or managed to get in a sneak attack? Also, speaking of, how has he not short circuited yet, the outside shell looks like it's able to handle the immense heat he produces, but that much prolonged exposed heat might cause some damage to something

There's this, but also sonic has been hit way harder before and he ran into things full speed before, that wont kill him. Just becuase he was going, "that fast" he's the fastest thing alive, he was made for high speed impacts.

Lets remember something: sonic didnt got the timestones in this timeline, maybe furnace collected them faster than the blue blur, so if furnace missed the blur, then starved or furnace could go back in time with the timestones and repeat the process over and over until the blur's cooked.

Starved should have expected that but sonic is full of suprises
After surviving furnace
Sonic uses the timestone to fix time and space and save everyone who has met a awful fate while making at the same time eggman existance stoping from existing trough it.

more realistic than the actual ending. Considering this takes place in sonic CD sonic has the ability to sense danger when sneezing. They really just killed him off for the sake of plot
