We unboxed a $4,000 Range Rover copy car from China and raced it against a real Range Rover. This Chinese copy is well over $100,000 cheaper than the original but what you get might surprise you.

In this video, we unbox the Chinese Rover, review every detail of the interior and exterior, and compare it to the real thing. Our final test is a drag race in the desert against a real $150,000 Range Rover.

As someone that lives in China, i have seen this car countless times. It is mostly driven by the older people in the country side. It looks cool in real life, and less than 4k dollars in Mainland China.

This type of vehicle is nicknamed 'Old Man's Joy' in China—it's somewhat like a toy car for elderly people, fulfilling their dream of owning a luxury car. The normal price is only about $2, 000, so you're paying way too much. In China, these vehicles can't be registered because they don't qualify as cars and aren't allowed on city roads. They're only permitted on rural roads.

I live in a 55+ community in FL. This thing is way cooler than all the golf carts people here are driving. It would be fun to go grocery shopping in it! AND good gold carts are crazy expensive.

For 4K it’s the best spent money I’ve ever seen

It seems to me that they expect the quality of the real range rover from this 4000$ car. It is stupid. At $4, 000, that little car is really impressive 😎

Here in China we call this type of cars as laotoule, basically means Old grandpa's Happiness, as 99% of drivers are old grandpas living in the villages or small towns, they usually drive to farmfield to work, transport veges and grains they grow, go to supermarket in towns for grocery or visit clinic or meet their friends in the villages or towns. In general, they could drive these cars without a driving license and most of they just buy cheapest insurance, but legally speaking, they are not allowed to drive in the city as traffic is more complicated but still you could see a few of them in cities as a lot of them didn't know and traffic police just keep a blind eye on it as they are just old grandpas from village don't have much money. 100% of them are pure electric as electricity in village in China usually costs about ¥0.6 which is about $0.08 per KW, so it's very economically affordable for people living in the countryside, usually mileage range from 60-100km depends on versions of standard or pro. When visit may parents actually in the village I prefer to drive his car than my own SUV as the road especially to the farmfield is not connivent if you meet another car if it's normal car, of course, they best would be drive electric scooter if it's not too hot/cold or rainning in the farmfield roads. Hopefully it's informative for anyone who wants know more about this type of vehicle.
Btw, Would also love to see your reviews of real Huawei Aito M9 or GWM Tank 700 VS real Range Rover or Tesla.

Totally worth it. Stop making fun of cheap cars. Some people really need it.

You guys are tearing it apart… so stupid… it $5000 dollars… of course it’s cheap… but it drives doesn’t it… you can’t buy any new car at that price, even golf carts cost that much…

For 4k you're getting real LED lights, DRLs, a reverse cam, ILLUMINATED POWER WINDOW SWITCHES, a screen, actual speakers, alloys that sure do look like aftermarket cheap alloys, a working AC, and a metal body instead of fiber or something, pull type door handles instead of those pull up types and a decent range for a small city/estate car/cart. Kinda a good deal for 4k. And as everyone knows, many parts of the real RR are also made in China lol

They didn't even unwrap the plastic from the "copy car" to give it a fair review, they also kept ignoring the massive price ratio. The amount of features and hardware you're getting for $4K USD is astonishing to me -- for clarity, this car is the price of roughly three iPhones!

That Chinese Range Rover will be a great urban shopping car. Easy to park and holds many bags of groceries with the rear seats folded forward.

These two guys are seriously comparing these cars—this is wild! The $4, 000 car is surprisingly holding its own, haha! Enjoy it while it lasts. Meanwhile, the Range Rover, even at this price point, still struggles with the same issues people complain about worldwide. Fascinating comparison!

I want it! I'm 61 and live in a retirement community of about 800 people. That car would be perfect for me to check my mail, go play bingo, and attend other community events. To me, that car is like an upgraded golf cart, which is about $8, 000 for a new one. Just think how jealous the old folks are gonna be!? 😂

I think this would be the perfect cheap Golf cart. In fact, it cost less than a golf cart.

I purchased an kislux bag in 2022, and I can confirm that it is very high quality. The owners were very nice, too! I may purchase another bag from them the next time!

Today, every article that wants to slander a Chinese product ends up being an advertisement for the Chinese product itself 😂😂😂
