Tube strikes cause rush-hour chaos in London

Tube strikes wrought havoc for thousands of commuters across the capital on Wednesday with unions threatening a further round of further walkouts.

London Underground drivers joined teachers, civil servants, junior doctors and BBC journalists in what threatens to be the biggest walkout since the current wave of industrial action started last year.

Hundreds of picket lines have been staged up and down the country amid continuing anger over issues including pay, jobs, pensions and conditions.

Despite talks being held between unions and the Westminster Government, the public sector strikes remain deadlocked.

No trains are running on any London Underground lines due to a strike by drivers in Aslef and the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT), according to Transport for London's website.

Being stuck there seems like a good way to have a panic attack, it is also extremely dangerous.

If they can afford to go on strike, they are obviously earning too much.

Imagine that the government can literally stop this from happening at any moment if they gave the workers the pay they deserve!

Give these essential worker what they demand. They're reasonable and realistic. Without them the UK wouldn't be what is is today. Start treating them as essential workers! ✊

Yes little coverage today from the media, press or government.
Contempt towards striking workers evident to see.
Workers next round of battle give contempt back that can't be ignored.
Do not give up and keep protesting right through 2023. Unions work together as one and give contempt for the government a new meaning..
No coverage does not follow workers going away...
