Going into this game i was scared of the Garrett and Clowney pass rushing duo disrupting our offensive flow. But major credit to that offensive line. Had them boys on a milk carton in running and passing game.

I can’t remember whether it was Superbowl 49 or 50 where a late friend told me something to the effect that I shouldn’t be fooled by the flashiness of the other positions because it’s really the big boys in the middle that do all the work in setting up the offense. I didn’t acknowledge his words at the time, but this video helped grow my appreciation for offensive linemen so many years later… My man Terron! Let’s hope he can stay as healthy as possible for the final stretch of regular season games and beyond.

Love the little extra video clips!!! Hahaha. The coaching plays a huge part in how our line is clicking. It looks like they make subtle changes and tweaks from the conception of the plays that plays to the strengths of the players. Not only for tua, but for each player. Coaching and talent. We got it all. Sure we may need to clean some things up and there’s always a bit of injury splashed in, but overall, it’s working. Another great breakdown. Fins up all day!

Thank you for the insight and breakdown.
You`re right he`s the HEART and Tua is the SOUL.
Props to Chris G. bringing him and Conner in and this coaching staff, like Tua said keep chopping the wood Boss.

Curtis you’re hilarious with your Whitney song opening.

Seriously, no SB team has ever done it without an excellent OL. The Chiefs/Mahomes showed the importance of an OL when they lost to Tampa Bay.

There’s no more questions about Tua, playmakers, etc. It’s now about can the D continue to overcome injuries and how far can the OL continue to improve.

These individual breakdowns are really good stuff!!

i was convinced that garrett was going to wreck this game single handedly. pretty incredible how much of a non factor he was, a testament to how good terron is! and he’s not even 100%!
the improvement of line play from last year to this year is kind of mind boggling

Considering Terron has missed quite a few games in his career, just happy to see him out there doing his thing at less than 100% instead of missing more games. I'll take 80% of a 150% player over zero any day. His intelligence has to transcend the field. We have uncoached OL draft picks (for 3 years) and having experienced coaches and players around is doing wonders. We drafted talent and they had the will to be good, adding coaching and a pro like Armstead has resulted in exceeding reasonable expectations. I really don't even care about this years record, the progress is stunning.

@6:55 Terron got away with moving early there. His left foot has already moved and hit the ground and Terron is almost upright while the ball is still on the ground.

Man they were cleaning up Jeff had a block big T looked good. Hope they keep it going, Clevelands DL i dont think were slouches either. 49rs will be a real good test for the offense to see what the OL is.

I'm guessing that the right big toe is the one bothering Armstead because at 6:58 you can see him going onto his heel on his right foot to absorb the impact of Garrett. He then leaves it on the ground for a split second to back pedal to shift weight to his left side.

On the play he gets bullied by Garrett, I am thinking he is concerned about getting his right foot stepped on and moves it out of the way of traffic. He is hoping Garrett attacks to the outside so he can ride him without depending on planting his right side in traffic. Either that or he is protecting against the possibility of a twist and disengaging to re-position inside.

Can't build a house on a structurally compromised foundation. Offense is built the same way and the O line is the foundation.

hmm my only question is im wondering if terron was battling injuries when he played garrett when he was on the saints

Yo Curtis love the show... I have question you think they should sit him for the Texans game ?? I feel like that would be the only opportunity to do so.

Curtis can you explain the Dwight Stevenson loss cheap hit Marty Lyons thing? I wasn’t born yet I don’t think lol. And is this the same Marty Lyons that does Jets games on the raido here in NY?
