Nice B roll... I had this amp for a bit but sold it to upgrade to a Cayin HA-3A. I miss this lil amp as it really is a great budget tube amp and pairs very well w/ Senn HD600.

How long did you let the tubes burn in before doing your testing? Sounds like you didn;t let them burn in at all?

Thanks for the journey, I’m new to tube want to take my first step this is an amp I’ve seen highlighted a few times. Appreciate sharing your open experience it can be overwhelming heading down a new rabbit hole such as tubes 🙂 when you mentioned low impedance headphones was that experience so jarring it’s not worth the experiment. As I build and branch out not bit a planar or high imprudence headphone as you shared, probably best would you recommend to build up your solid state before dipping your toe in tubes. Appreciate the content Dave 👍

Hello, I have a TA-26s paired with a PS VANE HORIZON CV181-AT tube. I’m currently using the stock power tube but I was looking what would be a nice upgrade and a good combo with the CV181-AT tube? I’m new to OTL amp’s so sorry if anything I’m saying makes no sense. Hopefully someone can help me. Thank you!
