'Zero Day' movie questions answered!

I finished watching the movie just now and damn, I didn't expect it to affect me that much. It's weird how kind of "likable" Cal and Andre can be in the movie, and it all felt so real I actually felt a pain in my stomach and chest during the final scenes, it was genuinely hard to watch the two boys carry out their plans even though we knew it'd happen from the beginning. The acting was amazing, this is genuinely one of the greatest movies I've seen and definitely one of those that has affected me the most. Thank you for this

Honestly out of all the “found footage” movies out there, I’d say Zero Day is the most terrifying and the most realistic. A lot of found footage is paranormal or tries too hard and you can tell it’s fake, but Zero Day could honestly come off as real home footage of two troubled teens. Your and Cal’s acting was so impressive, and even your parents were great actors too and everyone involved. I know I’m a year late, but just wanted to say that you and Cal and everyone involved, along with the director Ben Coccio, did a very great job with it. :)

I Think it's really interesting that you and Cal don't talk much or didn't for a while. Because you two worked together really well in the film, it really adds too the realism of the film, and also shows how great you're acting capabilities are.

The acting in this movie was absolutely outstanding. Some of the best I’ve ever seen. Truly sets such a high bar for authentic and organic character work. I’m a huge nerd for acting and deeply psychological character portrayals that feel true-to-life, and most certainly will be pointing to this movie as a stellar example of both for my fellow acting friends (despite the obviously heavy subject matter). Fantastic work!

i was 18 when my friend showed me zero day. he had told me (initially) that the footage was real. lemme tell you... he couldnt convince me it was a movie scene until he had actually put the movie on. mind blowing work, dude. you deserve more subscribers

You and Cal were so convincing in Zero Day that I had a hard time finishing it. It felt like watching a movie about my high school best friend and I if we went down a darker road. I haven't seen the movie in probably 15 years but I can still remember it almost perfectly. That's about the highest compliment I can think of give a movie

Watched zero day, and then decided that it was absolutely awesome. Saw that this video existed, had to watch it. So imagine my surprise when you say that one of the filming locations was in connecticut. This state NEVER gets mentioned and then out of nowhere it appears in a small movie that I decided to watch randomly after hearing about it. It's actually pretty creepy. Eh that's besides the point, you and cal both did amazing in your roles. You managed to make the shooters feel like genuine people instead of characters which is EXTREMELY impressive. Good work on all that. And good luck on whatever you decide to do next

Honestly, Zero Day is probably my favorite found footage movie. Even more so than Blair Witch Project and Chronicle. Absolutely phenomenal work Andre, it very well deserves the cult status! I hope to one day make movies too. Thanks!!!
