Game 12: Another series win! The 3rd inning was a bit scary, but I'm glad that we were able to come back and win the game. Kyle Wright is still finding his stuff. Clutch home run by Albies (100th of his career!) as well as the nice extra base hits by Hilliard. Let's go for the sweep tomorrow, go Braves!

The Braves at the moment are a complete Enigma. You have absolutely no idea what you are going to get. Their starting rotation is a absolute mess. Their star catcher is now on the IL, which leaves Murphy (no upgrade there...). The bullpen, the last two games have shown you they are NOT top notch unless you wanna showcse Tonkin, he was really good (ok Chavez has always been good). But lets face it, the pitching staff is in complete disarray for the most part. They are taking care of teams that they should be, sorta, they are giving up way too many runs to teams like the reds imo, but again, that's because the pitching is not "complete". If you get Fried back soon, ok that's a bonus, but that's all the team is going to get to bolster the rotation, you simply cannot rely on Soroka, he's like a infected wound that just won't heal, regardless of what you have watched over the past week in AAA. When they face teams that are obviously better in the next two weeks, it's going to be a nightmare, just like the series with the Padres where they lost 3 of 4. There isn't gonna be enough starting pitching to "fix" the issue. Kyle Wright, oof....that was a terrible performance.

If Braves stay healthy theyve got a clear path to playoffs. i don't see a team that can knock them out in the NL East but probably will lose in playoffs.

Something is up w/ Joe Jimenez's velo. I know he had surgery during the off-season but he might have needed more time. Hopefully, it gets better as the season goes on bc his FB is too hittable at 94mph

Ozzie Albies in his 100th career homers and the Braves wins again over Cincinnati Reds

Kyle Wrights fastball was so bad, you could tell the reds were wary at the plate, he literally had no control of it. The only pitch he could semi locate was his curveball. Also Cessa was throwing meatballs right done the middle for most of the game, surprised the Braves didn’t hang 10 or more on him.

It was a real nail-biter last night at Truist Park for both the Braves and the Reds and Atlanta was the one that came out with a victory with a score of 7-6, ending up taking the series at home.
The Braves got a head start at the first inning by scoring a run and took the lead at first. But Cincinnati exploded in the third, scoring four runs and putting Atlanta in real danger. But the Braves aren't gonna let the Reds have their way and strike back with three homers of their own.
And the Braves aren't done yet. They added some insurance runs to the mix, putting the Reds in their place at the end of round two, and Atlanta came out victorious. The last and final round of the series begins tonight, and the Braves are looking for their first sweep of the season at home before heading out to Kansas City to face off the Royals. Will the Atlanta Braves be able to accomplish that task and get a sweep at home, or will the Reds find a way to win back their Cincinnati pride?
Find out for yourself and come on down tonight to see if the Braves can go for their first home sweep of the season from Truist Park in Atlanta! If you can't make it to the game, just tune in tonight at your house!

Braves win 2 in a row!

Wasn’t easy but the offense carried us through a close game!

Matt Olson got us started in the 1st with his 4th HR. The Braves fell behind with a difficult start from Kyle Wright.

In the 3rd and 4th the Braves came storming back with an RBI single from Ronald Acuña in the 3rd and then an Ozzie Albies 2-run bomb, the hundo (he’s 76th all time among second basemen). Sam Hilliard tacked on an RBI giving us a 5-4 lead.

Orlando Arcia knocked in RBIs in the 5th and the 7th, and we would need both.

Joe Jimenez struggled giving up 2 ER in 0.1 IP, but Dylan Lee and Nick Anderson slammed the door.

Braves have won the last two by one run. Let’s get a sweep tomorrow!

Well that's what you do to a team that isn't as good as you are. They took a lead and it was cute but in the end Cincinnati isn't very good because of pitching and Atlanta took advantage of that
