As much as I disliked the way the Palpatine’s return was written, his appearance and voice is terrifyingly good here (this is definitely Ian McDiarmid’s most scary performance as the Senate) and Exegol looks incredible.

I really like how Palpatine looks in this movie, but BOI I would have loved to see a younger version. Imagine if instead of becoming this "Even darker lord", Palpatine actually gets younger and duels Rey and Ben with 2 Lightsabers.

Say what you will about Palpatine's return. It's obviously an attempt at trying to win over the base, but Ian McDiarmid gave the performance his ALL this time around. I was actually scared of this guy when I saw TROS in theaters.
