POV:

Yoriichi was turned into a demon by Muzan during one of his missions and lost his memories of his lover, Y/N.

Y/N grew concerned that her lover wasn’t home yet at the time he informed her he would be back so she went out to try and find him.

But instead she stumbled upon a demon, which she realised was her missing husband. But before she could talk he attacked, acting on hunger.

At that moment, Y/N knew she wouldn’t win.
So she sl!t her neck and died, knowing her lover would hate to know that she died by his hands so she did it herself. After she did this Yoriichi’s memories of her resurfaced, all those times they trained and loved each other coming back.

After years he found himself working with Tamayo and Yushiro to end Muzan. But his grieving never stopped.

To be honest, with this kind of story. I think the ending would be that less death will happen but Yoriichi will be the fighting Muzan until the sun rise(not Tanjiro) or when he manage, kill Muzan and die by the sun(unless drama like becoming the Demon King) so that he could join us in the afterlife.
