OnePlus 8 Pro vs Oppo Find X2 Pro: Which should you buy?

Oppo and OnePlus as two closely-linked companies, and that means devices are often very similar. For 2020 the flagships are the 8 Pro and Find X2 Pro. But the question is, does the Oppo earn its higher price tag?

Got the Oppo Find X2 Pro Hong Kong model with Dual Sim last month. The phone had two updates already...and managed to squeeze 6hrs of use with QHD and 120hz on..!! Not bad at all. Note that when inserting and using two sims my battery drains 10-15% faster. I love how the Oppo feels in the hand with the plastic leather. The orange colour has a pinky undertone..!! Had no problem with Colour OS. Greatly improved and practical.

Thanks Cam this was a great comparison video. I think for most people it would come down to cost. I've just ordered the Oppo for release on 10th June so I will see what its like then :)

For me, it's one plus because of the price, reverse charging, little better batterie and oxygen os

Excellent review. Both very similar phones. I don't know about other countries but here in the UK used oppo find X2 pro will actually cost less money.

-Cheaper
-Better screen

-No 3.5 mm jack

*Oppo Find X2 Pro pros and cons:*

-Nice camera
-Better zoom quality
-65 watt battery charge!

-Costly
-Not in America yet

A good comparison video but I fail to see the use if you are going to ask the viewers which they prefer as most may be looking at the video for some guidance on which may be better to begin with.

I think because of the price difference the oneplus is a better option. Not that I can warrant buying either at the moment sadly.

How long do the updates continue for both phones? I have heard that on Oneplus constantly update their phones for up to 3-4 Years vs Oppo who only continue updates for 2 years.
Does anyone know?

Oxygen OS and the toggle switch for the Oneplus, 65W charging for the Oppo. But the Oppo is pricier, so I guess the Oneplus is the choice.
