The probably most overlooked shot in this video is the first at the net in the double tweener rally versus Monfils. Please notice that he hits the ball with the forehand (!!!) side of his strings on the backhand side of his body! Amazing skill! Especially with so little time for the execution.

I watched one of the IG live between Paire and Wawrinka at the beginning of the quarantine. It was in french so I don't know if lots of people could understand but it was very interesting.
So Paire pretty much said he don't see himself winning a slam. And Wawrinka told him "you know you could, but you're just not ready to put the work in". And Paire said "well, actually, that's true...". I thought that was pretty incredible. He admitted he didn't want to put the efforts in to win a slam, and he was pretty much content with being ranked around 20th.
