Thank you for not using the new pc word for American Indians. Native American means everyone born in America ... like Native New Yorker means people born in New York or Native Californian means a person born in California. We've been called Indians and then American Indians for about 600 years, we accepted the term and have used it ourselves. We are American Indians and because we were born in North America we are also Native Americans. It seems the new PC word is attempting to erase who we are as tribal people, as independent Nations within the USA and hearing the new PC word for us makes me very, very suspicious. Why is it that now all these new PC words somebody made up... are kind of forced upon us all, as if it is natural and normal when it's obviously not?? We are living in strange times.

Thank you again for not using the new PC word that invalidates all Tribal People. I am a Proud Cherokee Tribal Member, a Proud American Indian and a Proud Native American-born here citizen of the USA.
