You can absolutely, 100% talk about Timbs without mentioning DJ Khaled.

It's crazy to think about how much personality hip hop had back in the 90s. You could instantly recognize a rapper's area just from the way they dressed, or a kid from another city based on that too, hell even the words they used were also different. Nowadays it's all mixed up and uhhhh there are still sooome differences but nothing crazy anymore.

Imagine an east coast guy in timbs and carhatts meeting a west coast guy in nikes and long socks back then.

I was born in 89 and all of my childhood memories are of seeing everybody back in the early to mid 90s wearing the white Nike Cortez’s and the timbalands😂 I used to love those Nike Cortez shoes

The Timberland standard construction boot in the wheat with the black leather upper is the most perfectly designed boot made. It’s the universal ascetic of “boot”. I buy a pair, wear it till they start looking rough, make them my work boots and then buy a new pair for weekends. Same cycle 20 years

Yea I can confirm that Timberland was a big thing in the mid 90's in Europe. The brand is still popular here and stands for great quality and craftsmanship. Dope vid like always 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Pac didn't bring Timbs to the West, it wasnt like he wore Chucks and Dickie suits. He was Eastcoast raised, and had a thorough NY swagger about him. He had a mix of Bay and NY. But in any case, it wasn't like he had Westcoast guys adopting Timbs all of a sudden.

No mention of 2pac wearing /running in Super Tims in the movie Juice??? That was iconic. He helped put Super Tims on the map.

Had a pair in middle school outgrew the size and couldn’t afford another pair for a long time. Now in my late 20s I ordered another pair. I can’t wait.

I'm from the west (not Cali, but Colorado). I'm a boot collector and I've had times since the 90s. It's great for the woods and outdoor activity that can weather the elements.
I recently bought a pair of classic suedes, but in 8 inch. These boots are iconic.

Every time I hear, “one love” by nas and “shook one’s” and “survival of the fittest” by mobb deep, I can just see someone walking down the street in a pair of timbs.
