Making fun of someone with a medical history through no fault of his /her own is an automatic 🚩

You know what, I still like the MC's friends more than his childhood friend. Mainly because they just acted awkwardly around him and the reason for it is because he's childhood friends with the popular girl. Unlike the FMC who was a jerk to him just because she can't accept that her first love has a medical disability. She did apologize genuinely though, and his classmates, knowing his disability were very supportive of him so it's fine by me.

Man, genuinly one of the best manga dubs i've ever seen. Especially seeing how postivively his friends reacted to his illness made me shed a tear..😢

MC not understanding his medical problem just led to him being anxious about it. FMC not understanding his medical problem, led to her making him more anxious and insulting him. Why on earth would he apologize?

Having lived with a colostomy for the better part of a year and being a person who has struggled with assorted health issues and hidden disabilities since childhood, I can confirm that people in general, and kids in particular especially teens can be cruel, and see no problem with being cruel until they're corrected/enlightened as to the importance of being compassionate and accepting towards others. My own struggles taught me patience, and to be restrained and reasoned in my judgements of others. It also drove me forward in my education, as the more I learned about what makes us Humans tick, the more I wanted to know and better understand us all both as individuals and as a collectivity.

To look down upon someone, to "tease" (more like, *harass*) someone for their medical and/or mental health conditions is as weak as teasing someone for wearing glasses by calling them "four-eyes." Bullying is not a "rite of passage" for boys, nor is it just "mean girls." It is calculated cruelty being acted out for cruelty's sake, and it can leave a child traumatized for the rest of their life. The cruelty *is* the point. Breaking the spirit of the target of bullying *is* the point.

This is why educating our children from a young age to be compassionate towards others, to be restrained and reasoned in judging others, and cultivating reasoned acceptance of the differences of others is so vitally important, and why bullying in any form must not be tolerated nor excused.

I’m not even surprised. I knew the Mc was gonna forgive her just like every other Mc

Another story for Mani Mani when the MC forgave the awful childhood friend. The quote at the end can never be justify if the horrid is like that. Kindness has a limit but if a person has poor self-esteem, their mind is always telling them that their at fault. The only solution for a person like that is to forgive the wrong one.

I love this story the most, and its realistic, having any kind of medical disability people judges, I like the fact that Mr. Moroboshi gives all effort and giving hopes to those who already lost. I wish my current doctors is like him passionate to help, not just for the money.

I can understand the embarrassment of when something like this happens, a couple of years ago I was in the hospital for a thrombosis in my left leg, I could not move too well and then both the female and male nurses had to help me in certain cases ... For example, when I had to have an operation to heal, they had to shave me in a certain place...

Shu actually has better friends then Satsuki who just up and abandon her right after she got paralyzed honestly Midorikawa, Himeno and Iino are actually just garbage hopefully one day they'll get theirs but it is nice that Satsuki apologized properly to shu after becoming paralyzed 🙂 but this story definitely deserves a part 2 when Moroboshi is able to make their lives a little bit more manageable.😊

Man this episode brings back some memories from school, used to have a friend with colostomy, and everyone was very interested on what was that and even shocked about it. Even though he was not teased and bullied like this MC, I also don't know how it relates to this story but glad this episode brings back some memories of the time I was with him.

Why do people think taking sh*t about someone's medical disabilities is a funny thing to do?

A bedridden patient must be turned every 2 hours to avoid bed sores, bed sores are nasty

I have mixed reaction on this story.

I gonna admit that i feel some symphaty on satsuki because i know how hard it is to become a bedridden since my mother also became bedridden ( rest in peace mama) , but at the same time, i do feel that he didn't really change altitude, i can still feel some boastfulness into her even though she's already disabled, i can feel that the pride is still there.

I would say that maybe it'll be better if the mc will also look into some other girls, not just Satsuki.

Just my opinion though.

honestly this one could really use a part two. The story feels very much unfinished, hopefully it gets a good ending some day.

I would like to thank you Mani Mani for highlighting stoma surgery. I have a urostomy and in the the story a colostomy, the animation was fanastic and real looking plus the equipment we have to use. My surgery was when I was 7 years old so I grew up with the stoma and all the problems associated with it. High school was ok but I had a group of friends that I could trust and confide in, they were however, some bullying but on the whole that was in the minority. I think I was pretty lucky in that so Thank you for a wonderful story😊
