I had the good fortune to attend an old firm game a few years ago. The atmosphere was tangible, electric even. After half an hour my ears were ringing with the noise in the stadium.
Mass spectator events are like the new religion nowadays, a collectively shared and witnessed experience and this one was special. You'll never walk alone friend.
