Taxis have contributed over nine accidents - Santaco

Santaco spokesperson Rebecca Phala says the taxi industry hasn't contributed to all the road accident fatalities. But she acknowledges that they've recorded over nine accidents that taxis have contributed this festive season.

Lack of education among taxi drivers has indeed caused trouble for this country

They are reckless, rude, bullies. Yes, they perform an important function but at what greater costs.
Many of them aren't fit to operate a heavy machine such as a vehicle.

I'm so tired of the irresponsible taxi drivers on the road, they break the road law on a daily basis. They are just bullies and reckless drivers. The taxis are rusted, with no license or permet to be on the road, just a tin on 4 wheels.
