Uganda, Kenya launch cross-border campaign against trachoma

Uganda and Kenya have launched the cross border mass drug administration to eliminate trachoma in the pastoral communities living on both the borders where trachoma is reported to be above the World Health Organisation recommendations. The exercise in Uganda is expected to take 2 weeks where they are targeting 470,000 people with antibiotics.
