I have yet to see him include an israeli in any panel he has on israel. He is intentionally ambivalent and is far from fair. His narrative is always based on promoting a two state solution and I would guarantee that he's a hillary clinton supporter, as I would presume it's safe to say that he also voted twice for Obama... His intentions are rooted in a perspective that's the antithesis of an actual israeli citizen's and it's the damage he does to the Israeli conflict and the discussion around it which lead me to view him as an agent against the best interests of israel. Which I'm sure he would claim are unintentional. My conclusions being set aside, i believe your assumption is wrong and that he is absolutely not pro-netanyahu or likud on any issues or agenda. He is an American jew with a very sincere western diaspora-based understanding of what it means to be a jew, one that even american olim in israel distance themselves from.
