There's a famous 'Nagoro Scarecrow Village' that was all but abandoned due to the aging population and children moving away so one woman brought the village back to life with scarecrow dolls. I think this roadside attraction is inspired by that since even the doll designs look similar in construction.

This makes me miss seeing mundane sights in rural japan. I remember spring times visiting family in hakatajima (the ramen is ace, the salt ice cream is major yums and the whole island smells like orange and lavender). I fervently wish you would do more of these long-form videos. Thanks for such a gem.

I don't know how many times I've rewatched these long form videos. I love how you take the viewer around Japan like a bigger, more knowledgeable friend who knows how to order food. It's so cool and relaxing, packed with information, fun photos, and your signature jokes. The vibe in these videos is really like chill traveling, seeing the drives and streets with nothing but the beauty of peaceful life. Those vibes are hard to include in shorts where everything might seems more rush and fast-paced, not bad, just like our real life, but I also love this side of your channel.
