Soft Arranger demonstration

Quick overview and how to make make music playing a MIDI style with Soft Arranger.

Soft Arranger is a FREE software based MIDI arranger for PC and Mac developed for professional musicians who play live and demand reliability and ease of use. In this video I show some basic usage with a couple of MIDI keyboards, a Novation launchpad mini and a MacBook pro which is my usual setup when performing live on stage in front of an audience.

If you have never heard of a MIDI arranger before, sometimes they are also called an auto accompaniment keyboard, a performance keyboard, an arranger workstation or a realtime arranger. They can basically all create a musical arrangement on the fly and they are always a lot of fun to play.

I can see this how it will open the door for a new breed of DIY arranger keyboards, its a dream becoming true, i would definitely download this software and test it.
I would like to see more functionality in the future
1) Importing styles and sets from Yamaha, Korg, ..etc arranger keyboards.
2) implement arabic scale.

It would be nice if the "Soft Arranger" can have off-the-shelf extensions and support for Cakewalk by Bandlab, which is a full-blown DAW on Windows, and absolutely free for all the features.

Thanks for the time spent on this video. I have an Arturia Keylab Mk2, Launchpad X, KK S88 Mk2 and a Korg PA4X. Any chance of you sharing the setup for your Launchpad as I know your efforts in creating such were not trivial. I have three means of controlling/using the Yamaha Styles currently not supported by my PA4x with the Keylab and/or S88. I find the PA4x much more capable for style creation but Yamaha Style availability is much more available. Having the best of both worlds and controlling the GigLad with the Launchpad X would be an awesome combination. I'm 64 but have vast experience in software development so it need not be simple documentation if you have simple or complex info. If you care to share any of your efforts on the Launchpad efforts it would be most appreciated. If not I completely understand. Thanks again for taking the time to make the video. The CC and PC Data coming from the Launchpad I believe can be easily modified for use in the PA4x style selection and/or modifications. I'm new to the Launchpad (3 weeks) and just trying to get a head start.

I see this in a different way than "auto accompaniment for entertainers": As a user of Yamaha's QY700 i was looking for a vst/plugin/software which allows for full modal transposition of sequences without the need for an arranger keyboard or the abundance of functions of PG's band-in-a-box.

This is amazing, i wonder how i can make setup to use samples from keyboards korg m3 to this arranger? Maybe play with midi channels, example, drum midi 10, bas midi channel 11, guitars on channel 12???

Can I mute drums or just convert to click so this becomes mainly a bass accompaniment arranger . I’m not sure that can be done on even arranger keyboards
