She received prizes and hate mail for her dark humour in the wake of the 9/11 attacks when she introduced herself with the line "My name's Shazia Mirza - at least, that's what it says on my pilot's licence". Several months after Paris was hit by terrorists, she's provoking laughter and more with her new show about life, love and jihadi brides at the city's La Java club.
"The Kardashians Made Me Do It" is inspired by three London schoolgirls who ran off to join the Islamic State organisation. Shazia Mirza speaks to Eve Jackson about taboo-breaking humour and performing in Paris.

This woman is a delight! To be able to make light of circumstances and situations that uptight people are too frightened to enjoy. It's ok not to laugh at her you have the option to change the channel, turn off the radio, video, whatever. You truly have to give up that baggage you drag around with you that doesn't allow you to enjoy life and laugh. If you want to constantly look over your shoulder in will eventually do youself in. So me of us wil be more positive and enjoy the humor in everyday life. I'm not saying not to feel for the lives lost in these acts of terrorism, those are never also keep in mind all those lives that were taken by the homegrown man or the gun toting NRA member, those lives were a devastating loss. Just smile once in a while and stop blaming every brown skinned person for the sins of the bad ones. I don't blame all the white men in communities as if they are no different than the gun toting terrorists...we aren't the same.

I think it is IS et cetera using sex to attract young sexually repressed people but I also know the actual religion also drives is and most Muslims don't truly follow it and believe it but may support many Islamic ideas usually that are termed Islamist ideas.
